Flow Sensor
This Flow Sensor 507 has been designed as a key instrument to measure the particle flow in pneumatically operated peening machines and blasting machines, which are mainly used for pressurized technique. As demands from the industry gets more critical day by day, the Flow Sensor 507 is perfectly able to satisfy those needs.
The sensor is perfectly suitable for nozzles in the 3 to 15 mm (1/8" – 5/8") diameter range and all dry flowing metallic or non-metallic powders, granular materials or round shot can be processed. Such monitoring is necessary for all high-end operations and for quality control in general.
Function
The particles, accelerated by gravity, hits a deflector plate. This deflector plate is hold by a strain gauge assembly which provides a voltage signal following conditioning and linearization. Through this signal a real time value in kg/minute (or lbs/min) can be made visible.
