Cored Wires

Developed by Metallisation, Cored Wires enable a 'hard facing' type of coating to be achieved. They consist of a tubular wire construction filled with selected materials. Particular attention has been paid to the tolerance and surface finish of the wire and to consistency of the filler powder. These Cored Wires are supplied on plastic spools in weights of 5-10 kgs depending on material type. All Cored Wires are identified by reference, part and batch number as well as material type.
