Dustfree Blastunit SSM 2000
Dustfree blastmachine designed for the surface treat of smaller surfaces and welding seams.
The machine consists of a portable frame (chassis) on which the blastpot with preseparator and vacuumsource are mounted. Also included are a moisture separator, pressure regulator and pneumatic deadmans contol with timers.
To maintain a constant abrasive quality, the pressure pot is combined with a hopper with sieve, which can be cleaned easly and an adjustable high flow seperator.
The vacuumsource and cartridge filter are placed on a sturdy frame with dustbucket, to assure easy disposal of the extracted dust and moisture.
The SSM 2000 is standard delivered with a 10 meter hosepackage with blasthose, vacuumhose and two-line command hose.
The vacuumhead SP 80 is foreseen with 6 mm boron carbide nozzle and two-line deadmanshandle.
The advanced deadmanssystem consits of :
- pneumatic amplifier
- pneumatic timer system
- deadmanshandle including two-line command hose
- all necessary connections to main air and exhaust valve
The "Blast Wizard" 2-line control system is a very reliable system, which eliminates uncontrolled activation of the pressure blast system, as the deadmanshandle passes the actual signal through the reverse hose.
The timer function controls a slower close-off of main air valve after release of deadmanshandle.
This way the blasthose will be fully emptied which will assure a perfect re-starting job procedure.
After releasing of the deadmanshandle, the controle pressure on the amplifier will fall away, main air- and metering valve will be closed and exhaust valve will be opened.
Pressure will fall away inside the blastpot, the filling valve will fall down, and the blastpot can be refilled again.
The two-line control hose is executed in two colors, making the correct connection easy to be made.
The control box of the blastpot is standard executed with an emergency knob, allowing third to shut down the system and thus a double security is build in the system.
All types of reusable abrasives can be used, such as glassbeads, chilled iron, steelgrit, aluminiumoxide etc.
