Dust free blasting units – series SSM
The SSM series dust free blasting units can be used for numerous blasting jobs such as cleaning butt joints, cylinders etc, stone blasting, repairing concrete and for all projects where dust is unacceptable.
All types of reusable abrasives can be used, such as glass beads, chilled iron, steel grit, aluminium oxide etc. Usage of slag’s is advised against. The remote control can be in pneumatic or electric execution.
The SSM 62-050CE is de-mountable, so that the unit can be transported in smaller parts into an oil storage or ship tank, to be used for repair jobs and spot blasting and delivered with a pneumatic or electric vacuum source.
The SSM 2007 series is an innovation of the 62-series to comply to the demand of vacuum blast systems with a constant blasting pattern. Therefore the 2007-series is executed with an adjustable tangential cyclone, which guarantees a better separation of dust and reusable abrasive. Between blast pot and cyclone a small hopper is mounted, with a hinged sieve.
The hinged sieve allows cleaning of the sieve outside the hopper and prevents contamination’s to get into the reclaimed abrasive.
Also a dustbin, with special closure device, is included, allowing easier deposit of dust.
