Robotic Shotpeen Machine

Pre acceptance at Straaltechniek

Cabinet with robot without robot cover
Representing the state-of-the-art in shot peening, the new robotic system can process the widest range of products in all industry fields, in this case aero engine parts, to improve resistance against fatigue.
The shot peening cabinet is lxwxh = 3,4 x 2,4 x 2,9 meter, is fully programmable by teach-inn or programming off line and operates automatically.
An industrial robot executes the nozzle manipulation with six 6 axes, mounted to the ceiling of the cabinet. A jacket, to prevent damage during the peening operation, protects the robot arm.
The robot is provided with one nozzle-holder for 1 nozzle, to meet the highest standards of precision.
Furthermore, an indexing turntable is provided, which interpolates with the industrial robot system.
This provides a total of 7 adjustable axis.
The media reclaim system is executed with a pneumatic media transport system, cyclone and in-cycle shot size classification system, to ensure the user that only the highest quality standard, regarding peening media, will be used.
The peening machine is executed with air-pressure and shot flow close-loop regulation (Magna Valve), adjustable and programmable from the pendant of the machine.
