Wheelblast machine restoration at Heunisch-Germany
Heunisch is a specialized foundry for the manufacturing of large castings. This is an example of a machine restoration. The loading is realised with motorized hooks on monorail beam.
The machine consisted of 2 successive wheel-blasting rooms, each room was equipped with 3 radial turbines. The machine carries out the desanding of the parts.
We initially carried out the replacement of the old turbines with 6 new turbines "Gamma" 400. Then, we installed a 3rd wheel blasting room, equipped with 3 additional turbines "Gamma"400. This new room is integrated mechanically and electrically in the old installation for a complete automated working.
